I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

A masterpiece my friend. That lighting is gripping with beauty like your fae. Brilliant mood it sets Rod. Sounds like never ending costs and extensive work for you my friend. Sometimes retirement is not so much. Thing should go smoothly during this time.
At this time i gotta worry about my 84 yr old mother, shes been having dizzie spells for about 6 or 7 weeks now, blood tests and others show nothing, next is a MRI on her brain. Hoping for her and you always bro. Top notch work on this.

Beautiful scene, Rod. Do like the emmissive--guess you are slowly abandoning Poser :( Sounds like your weather still sucks... NYC's weather is slowly improving--finally. Take care and don't do too much yard work...if you're lucky the wind will blow all the detritus away.
RodS
Nope! Not abandoning Poser at all. Just adding more tools.. 😁

Lighting is excellent..Like the way the orb glows the fae's face.
You certainly had your share of emergencies..Hoping the little black cloud move out to the ocean.

Stunning image of Kinnie! she looks so delicate and sweet. but you and I know that underneath that sweet exterior is a fae that would rip your soul apart and then apologize to you afterward. Great talking to you last night.

Always a stunning presentation, Rod. That orb light and Kinnie are purely amazing. Unfortunately Phaetara is competing for attention as we make sure my copy of DS 4.11 works ok (laptop was acting stupid again, this time it was Norton causing drama).
Hoping for the best for your neighbor's and Steve's moms.
I might have a couple of slices left of Flatbush Imports Pizza. Maybe that will take care of Chaos. I would hope so anyway.

This is so nice! I think Daz does have the equivalent to the Morph Tool, but it's under Tools somewhere and of course named something different--I remember using it on a plane to make humps. I'll have to go look again.

Great scene . . . . excellent lighting ! ! !

Love the pretty font work; it glows like her orb. The lighting is beautiful in this whole scene; it shines on her face so nicely.
Don't work too hard, remember to have some fun, but remember not to let your fun become work, too.

Loverly lighting effects in this masterpiece, I must say, plus I really like the block text composition. As for getting up and standing at my age, I'm 91 but am still able to get off the floor after crouching, kneeling, on my knees, etc., but it's quite a challenge. It takes a combination of mechanics and will power to get up. I have more strength in my arms than I do in my legs, which went to hell in a very short time.

The light is superb, gorgeous image !

Superb pose and setting and a really magnificent lighting !! Looks like a book cover with this text !!

Lighting is often the key to a successful image, and this is successful. The same effect in Poser is pretty easy with Superfly, and not dramatically difficult in FireFly. I think Studio does have an equivalent to the morph brush but it is named something completely different. Good luck finding it.

Love the effects and atmosphere, sweet one!

Love this image!
So sorry you are having "issues"!!!

That simply wonderful Rod ! The title does have that Stranger Things feel and well, Kinnie is simply looking beautiful in that light ! It is pretty amazing what you are doing for the Adobe daily challenge. I really love this one !
I do hope the weather changes for the good soon, Rod. I know what not having lights (and water) feels like... Have had enough experiences with it before I left my home country.... But boy, things have been bad at your end for way too long now.... Fingers crossed, it will change for the better soon.
Sorry, for the delay in commenting.... been off mood lately.... and killing time by trying to improve Miho's eye, lips and hair shaders.... Still haven't gotten around to render my next scene and write the next chapter..... Hopefully tomorrow.

Lol on the chaos! I never knew it was into syrup-flavored-peanut butter. It's been sponging off you for a while now: Just be sure you keep your receipts...And I've heard of the Stranger Things series, but haven't seen it, so I can't appreciate how you emulated it here. I CAN appreciate the title, period; love the font; and the color suits the blue-green glow around Kinnie. Love the light and the leaf or moss filled background; and Kinnie, above all, looks wonderful and relaxed---I guess faeries can be relaxed anywhere, given their powers. And love her casual glance at us while she holds that magic sphere. And her wings look great in that light---they look like big jewels. Another fine photo-3Dmodel image from you, Rod. A friend told me, last week, of a month when everything went wrong: We agreed that there should be prior notices, saying when it will begin, how long it will last, what we have to pay to avoid them---incl vouchers for the sales afterwards. It's the least they could do. If he has any extra vouchers, I'll send them your way...
