I agree with comments above---a wonderful inner journey. You let your imagination explore deeply here...Love the woman's shadowy gaze through the moon, the bats which bring it closer to earth, the packed starry sky, the way you weave the boats swirling bow into the bottom of the moon and how the bow's curve mirrors the curve of the moon (in opposite directions, a kind of ying yang), and the lantern as a quiet beacon, and the lone woman with flowing hair---right out of a fairy tale---with an open book and a teddy bear and balloons. You mix childhood, adulthood and myth all into one image; and the boat---a motif you've used in other images (with equal effectiveness)---seems to be resting on the tops of clouds (!). An ancient fairy tale feeling with child-and-adulthood mixed together: terrific piece, Barb. And black and white gives it real mystery. (You didn't highlight it too much---you left it quiet and mysterious, which is just right)
