Description
We've pretty much come to the end of Christina Rosetti's poem; Lizzie's long vigil is rewarded and Laura awakes restored to her old self and somewhat the wiser for her experience.
"Laura awoke as from a dream,
Laugh’d in the innocent old way,
Hugg’d Lizzie but not twice or thrice;
Her gleaming locks show’d not one thread of grey,
Her breath was sweet as May
And light danced in her eyes. "

They're both lovely. Wonderful work.

A good ending to a long poem with lots of renders to go with it. Well done.
(One minor point: since Laura's eye have a reflection, lizzie's should have one, too).

Good point. It was meant to be an allusion to the "light danced in her eyes " line, but the difference is too extreme. Laura is using Thorneworks' Erika mats , which have a pre-painted reflection on the eyes, while Lizzie is V4 Elite Lana which uses the environment map (so should have the more relaistic reflections). There are one or two other things i may tweak as well, as the lighting inst quite right. I'll update the image when I have time to tweak it.

That is a lovely ending to this series of yours. Yup, what RRun pointed out about the eye reflections did stick out for me. You can save just the eyes as a separate material and apply it to the other character. Then if you change the iris color, you get the same reflections but the eyes look different.

Yep I had that in mind... or else just postwork some refelctions in PS2
