This is one of two versions of this render. It is also probably my favorite of this Betrayal series. I made this after following a volumetric lighting tutorial from MYDART-CO and then using mCasual's newest script that works as a front end for Intel Open Denoiser and Imagemagick-convert As is my way, I didn't so much follow the tutorial as get the gist of it and then run amok on my own. I... changed a ton of stuff. I used a number of items I've picked up along the way including characters and props. You can't see it in any of the final renders due to the bright light streaming through the windows, but there is a city outside. I used a Genesis 3 character from most-digital-creations… along with Gwinalli and another Victoria 7 character FWSA Yulia HD. I used the many morphs I've picked up to tweak them somewhat and picked out a big gun and some props for a bedroom. When put together, I had a small hotel room... apparently part of a suite. And we see a moment after a lengthy and dangerous adventure. Three women on a quest for an artifact. However, for this angle you can only see two of them. The adventure is done. She thinks they're asleep. Now is her chance. She slips into the main room, already suited up and ready to leave. She rifles around for the artifact and is almost home free when she hears their voices and the click of a safety catch. There's a price for betrayal. And this is apparently what happens when I can afford to buy a few things and then folks such as those at Renderosity give away even more good stuff to play with.
