Description
Although Joe V. Meigs aggressively promoted his nonorail system, it never went past the demonstration stage. This image shows how it might have looked in service through the countryside. It's a view from below of the Meigs monorail crossing over a county road where a horse carriage has just passed under the elevated track. A member of the train crew stands on the front platform of the steam engine, perhaps looking to the future. If the deer in the foreground are capable of contemplation they might be what this changing technology might mean for them, although the stag seems to have something else on his mind. Are the geese siding with the horse carriage although it's overshadowed by the monorail? This render is an elaboration of one I produced for the promotional images for my Meigs Monorail Poser Model.
M4, dressed in the Edwardian Casual Suit from DAZ, is the crewman.. The carriage is Gunter Zimmer's from 3D CAD, pulled by the DAZ Millennium Hose LE. The deer in the foreground are Wolmol's Scottish Hind and Most Digital Creations' Stag. The geese in the distance are from Songbird Flock Formations (Hivewire 3D). The environment is Road and Track Scenery with my own background photo, modified for the Fall season.
Composed and rendered in Poser 11 Pro.

Very cool modeling. The monorail train is of a very unique design.
