The alien invaders Recon Group One returns to their scout ship and begin the survey of the forest they first landed in. Intelligence gathered by a probe years earlied indicated there might be a likely spot in this area that would work as a base for their operations while they gather more detailed information about this planet. It doesn't take them long to find an abandoned military installation located far away from civilization in this very remote forest. Although it looks perfect for their needs, they must first be certain it isn't still in use. After careful inspection, they determine it has indeed been out of use for many years. With their sophisticated technology and resources, they soon have the base secured and ready for habitation by the three of them. Installation of cloaking and security devices produce the desired effect of covering up any changes they make and preserve the original appearance of the base. Their next task is to assume earth like identities. From the safety of their cloaked scout ship, they travel to a near by populated area. After several scans of the population, they locate three candidates that meet their needs. Using sophisticated technology onboard their small ship, they are able to scan the three individuals without their knowledge. Once they are certain they have all the information they need, they return to their base. Once inside their base, they feed the information into their cloning devices and before very long, the three human forms appear in growth chamberss. Once the growth process is finished, the three human forms are taken to a clean area where the three aliens can inspect them. The final product is a mindless human form. With their alien technology, they are able to transport their minds into the bodies of these human clones. The cloning machines perform double duty. They also perform the mind transfers from the aliens to the host bodies. The aliens bodies remain safely in the clone chambers while the human dopplegangers roam about outside. With these human bodies, the aliens anticipate being able to mingle with this planet's population. They believe this is one of the best ways to gather the most up-to-date accurate intelligence so they can determine how best to proceed with their planned exploitations.
