A moving message
New year resolution 2023: I have been a member of this site for about 10 years, but now I feel it is time to move to a site with more traffic and interest.
I still will occasionally pass by, but any request or comment that needs answering may take a loooooong time.
Should you not have noticed during the last two years my main account now can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/maruberlin
And yes, there is quite a good chance that there are renders of mine containing nudity on that site.

Nice work, RRun.. I saw the model in another place.. was considering it :) But, great render and scene, nicely done!

Thanks. The trick is not to get confused over what you see in the Iray preview - this looks rather flat. The fur "unfolds" in the final render. and this is the version without the LAMH.

Stunning!! Love the comment about the lads... lol

Very cool image/scene, really nice work on this.....render and lighting look good, fur is notorious hard to render especially big quantities, juggling endless setting to try and get clean renders. fur relies on anti-aliasing to render cleanly. With the right combination of global AA, the Shading Rate, and Frame Passes if IRAY can do that....? you can have a a decent AA setting and render in two or even three passes, given it a more smoother look and also cleaning the noise up at the same time.....

That much hair would clog any system. It came out magnificently even at the lower settings. Bravo!
rajib
haha... The lads would definitely be laughing after hearing her say that :)....Fiber hair is tough for all render engines. I am actually rendering the wolf with million over fiber hair and it will take around 45 minutes.

love the concept. and execution.
My werewolf render recently took a couple of hours to render. Still convinced I'm doing something wrong with IRAY.
If I had the scratch, I'd pick up the render engine that rajib uses. But, he's right, all the engines seem to have issues with the hair. But, at least there's hair for some critters now. The old wolfman figures used to irritate me with the lack of hair.
Nicely done. It looks all fluffy and real.
