in some of these spare shots, you get such ominous light...this seems like a moment before the earth ends...love the light, and the spare sidewalk: It makes us aware of all the lines and irregularities in it. And that lone hydrant (and pole further down) are so forlorn, in this shot. A very minimal shot with lots of character and eerie light. Very finely done.
