Description

Here’s a fun image I created for one of the Photoshop Daily Challenges last month. This is Jenny’s (Pixeluna) Little Patch Girl playing the lead role. I created the Holocron in Photoshop, and composited it into the image. Speaking of Photoshop…. Things are still nothing but fun (NOT) here. Today I attempted to get my Wacom Cintique 22HD connected to the Powerspec machine with the RTX2080Ti. The Cintique has a DVI-D connector and the RTX2080 has only Display Port connectors. I bought an adapter at Microcenter that was supposed to work. It appeared to do so – for a while. After an hour or so of fighting and fiddling to get the Cintique and second monitor set up correctly, I started up Photoshop to test the pressure sensitivity when using brushes, etc. I painted one stroke – and then… The Cintique went completely black. The power button now has absolutely no effect whether the Cintique is connected or not. It won’t power off at all. The only way I can power it off is by unplugging the power supply. I’m not sure what happened, but it looks like my $2000 Cintique is now dead. I’ve contacted Wacom, so we’ll see what happens next – they’re pretty good about getting back with me in a day or so. But… I’m starting to get to a point where I’m just ready to walk away from everything – at least for a while. Seems like I spend more time solving problems than I do actually enjoying the creative process. It’s just not fun anymore… I do still have the laptop with Photoshop and a Wacom Intuous tablet (I used it to paint the bottom of Ar’s dress) so no, I’m not giving up. At least not yet. I’m still working on the T.N.A. story in between all these F%$^$$-ing issues. But – again – it might take a while. Thanks for “listening..” Facebook Twitter Girls From T.N.A. Excellent lighting, texturing and sense of depth. This gal does look rather weird, though. Think I'd prefer the Columbia gal!

Sorry to learn you've been having issues with some of your computer hardware. Just can't stand such things. Hope they're all resolved by now or soon will be!
