Description

After playing with the hair feature in Carrara, I thought to myself, "what would a Genesis character covered in hair look like?" - and here's the result. This is just one frame from the animation, you can watch the whole thing here: https://youtu.be/HYO6iEMgWsw I started by creating an aniBlock animation in DAZ Studio and baked the animation to keyframes, then saved the scene in DAZ's native .duf format. Carrara supports this, so I was able to open my scene and drape the hair all over the body. I used a variety of settings, from the default to something more spikes, and I've changed the default colours on the hair shader, but that's all I did here. I set a bot of light and several camera angles, then rendered the scenes on all my three Z-machines in tandem. I believe the total was close to 4000 frames. I've made a live stream that shows the whole process recently. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/wSzxVuL9z5Q Enjoy!

And you discovered he/she would look like Chewbacca! I love this - Chewie at the disco! LOL

Great fun, Jay! This is a riot, and the stream was great as always!
