Dear old Golden Rule days
Reading and writing and 'rithmetic
Taught to the tune of a hickory stick...
Truth be told, I was kind of a nerd/geek in both high school and college. Oh sure, I had a social life with my friends and even dated a couple of boys, though nothing serious. My mom and dad impressed the importance of a good education into me at an early age, stating that while social skills and contacts are good to have, true power lies in knowledge... and a smart person knows how to use both wisely.
However, there's that part in me that still wonders...
