Akeem: So I take it it was an uneventful shift? Seeing that I didn't hear anything about the hospital on the news tonight. Kasha: Yeah, it was that. I was even able to do some actual nurse work, although I still had one eye on intel reports for most of the night. Akeem: So how bad were you guys affected by the hack? Kasha: From what me and Wen were able to find, they did come close to breaching our network but we shut the power off before there was any real damage. I don't know yet how our allies fared though. Akeem: The usual suspects? Kasha: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, The Amazons, True Blood. And right now "suspects" are all what they are. We don't know who actually started it. The hack originated from multiple vectors, and might have been piggybacked by malware on unsuspecting computers. Akeem: I heard those Space Foxes were the main target. Kasha: Wouldn't surprise me. They're a huge powder keg, especially with that state visit from their Chancellor coming up in a few weeks.* It's going to get ugly. * "...in a few weeks," story time. It will take a bit longer than that in real time to get details worked out, especially if I'm still working two jobs during that time. ***** Double post tonight, as I won't be able to post for the next couple of days at least. This network hack did happen, I just haven't written the account of it yet. The Divas and the Melani were affected by it, among other entities. The Melani may have been the prime target, as some entities still feel they have to answer for their "occupation" of Mars, as well as trying to throw spanners into preparations for an official state visit by the Melani Confederacy Chancellor.
