How can anyone look into those eyes and want to end the life of this lovely creature... And I'm not really a cat person.. more of a dog guy.... but this little lady deserves to live as much as any of us. Including that pathetic waste of DNA you rent from, buddy.

There HAS to be a way to keep her from being 'put down'..... (always hated that term..)

A lovely portrait of Tig er, Steve.

Beautiful little kitty cat! Steve,,,,,,,you wouldn't have these problems if you would just move in with your Mom......she could use your help now, with the health problems that she is having, and I'm sure that she would let you bring your 'puddy cat' with you!! You should seriously think about it Steve......after all.....she is your Mom.

Praying for both you and Tig er, Steve. Don't put up with that person's BS. If you and Tig er could be with your Mom, that would be better!

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions, but my mom being on her current health is doing pretty good I guess, she does still at this point prefers to be by herself. And sadly she also does not want a cat in the house.

Not sure Tig er would like being indoors any way. She never wanted to come in Brian's house. She is just a outdoor cat. If I had my own pad, I would try and convert her to a indoor cat.

Love the cute look she has! I do hope a solution can be found so that she doesn't have to be put down... Having own a few myself and lost them I know what it's like!

My wife has a loving 'Tig-er' too! His face is much thinner than your beautiful friend here. He is the most loving demanding and intelligent little critter we have in the house. LOL! He is very possessive of my wife as well, the little varmint! Sometimes she can't handle all the love he wants to give her. But she does manage somehow! Hope you and your Tig-er create many many many happy memories together! A beautiful photo and magnificent capture!

Beautiful cat. Very strange that someone can demand this, wile there are government agency that will prosecute you if you don't take good care of your pet and/or animals.

Adorable! I hope that your landlord will change his mind and let you keep her. How about the animal rights group around your area, Steve? Can they help you out? I wish you strength to go through this very difficult time.

Yes, there is no doubt of the absolute sanctity of life in the eyes of an innocent animal. I truly hope Tig er will be saved, and I hope Brian doesn't go any further in his threats. I've known people in animal rescue, and they get overwhelmed---so many creatures who've been badly treated (the stories are stunning---I mean such cruelty); and the rescue centers can't take them all, so have to turn away beautiful creatures. Luckily, there are many places who care for animals, if you are forced to give her away. But Tig er found you, and you saved her, and it feels like you were meant to guard over her...and I hope you can, Steve: I wish you everything in the world with that. You've saved a life....Beautiful face, and she knows what you've done for her. I'm sorry Brian tries to stand in between you two...all the best to you in everything, Steve...(I'll be posting for you before I shut down tonight...check my gallery)

I am currently not active on the site but I had to write you...I also have a Tig er, the same beautiful face as your and nearly identical in color and markings...Mine is a male that I rescued before winter set in last year...he is also an outdoor cat but now resides inside about half the time...He still goes outside for as much as 8 hours a day but always returns to what is clearly his choice for the rest of the time...He talks to me constantly, sometimes drives me up the wall lol...We are over run with strays here and I wish I could take them all in...we have no kill agencies here (NY) so some are lucky to get a home there. No one should give you grief over an outdoor cat, thats simply ridiculous! Most cats are good mousers, mine brings me one almost everyday and thankfully he doesn't go after birds or squirrels...You might suggest to that man that the cat is keeping the rodent population down...I got lucky here, my landlord is also an animal rescuer too...I wish you well with all you face and hug that kitty for me:)
