Moulin cavier Le moulin cavier est un moulin à vent caractéristique en Anjou, en particulier dans le Saumurois. Il est composé d'un corps mobile appelé hucherolle, supportant les ailes et contenant uniquement le mécanisme de renvoi du mouvement. La hucherolle repose sur une maçonnerie conique construite au-dessus d'une cave — parfois troglodytique —, à l'intérieur de laquelle se trouvent les appareils de mouture, ce qui explique l'appellation de moulin cavier. Mill cavier The cavier mill is a windmill characteristic in Anjou, especially in the Saumur region. It is composed of a mobile body called a hucherolle, supporting the wings and containing only the movement's return mechanism. The hucherolle rests on a conical masonry built above a cellar - sometimes troglodytic -, inside which are the grinding devices, which explains the name of cavier mill.
