Description
I took Bodie for a long walk this morning and when I went down the alley, this snake was not there. on returning I seen it. Bodie never noticed it. I thought maybe it was dead so I tossed a twig close to it's head and it moved a little. after taking Bodie in the yard, I returned but it was gone. about 6 weeks ago, something bit Bodie on his foot leaving two openings like the fangs of a small snake. it is strange that they would be seen here as they tend to be in South West Texas, New Mexico , and Mexico. maybe it was a pet and was released or escaped. Bodie licked his foot for many days, but with medicine it is almost gone.
obvious the snake is providing a method of killing mice/rats. I did not harm it

Cool, great capture!

In a way, snakes are good at pest control. Going after your pooch is another story altogether, obviously.
His design looks great though. Would like to see this used as a humanoid texture.

Very interesting capture... I don't like snakes near my home!

This one had already eaten apparently, if he bit Bodie it was probably to defend him because he must have been afraid of Bodie

It is very beautiful!

Pest control is a big issue, Richard. You were so right to leave the snake alone for many reasons, most importantly, it might have a Mother, or a mate close by who might see fit to bite you!
