Description

from what I hear, it is huge now because the temperature is more mild than Manila with much less pollution. I stayed over to the left and walked this street to downtown. I was told that the street is paved now with underground storm drains/sidewalks. several people has been hit and killed along here from speeding jeepneys . a cousin of my friend lived closer to town in a huge beautiful home that she built by working in Austria. unfortunately she was killed also by a jeepney while crossing the street to go to church

This reminds me so much of Thailand, Richard. And the taxi drivers there were crazy behind the wheel.. We were told if your taxi ever gets in a wreck to toss the driver a few bhat (Thai currency) and run like hell. Thai law places responsibility on the passenger, not the driver - because you hired him to drive you..
