I find myself dissolving
into your secret flesh;
losing myself; living in you.
Burning with feverish dreams,
sordid nightmares assault me.
I am yearning for completion
yet dreading the inevitable.
I feel you swallow me and I die.
My bones, my sinews, my guts fade;
and you are all that is left.
I look into your ancient eyes
and fall into oblivion.
I kiss your Aztec lips
and find smoldering honey
enticing me ever further...BIOI'm 46, live in Seattle, work for a non-profit agency to pay the rent and do freelance 3D illustration to feed my soul and ever-expanding tech budget.

Well, my first thoughts before I read the caption was of the Knights Templar, so I you did a great job of carring out that idea. Nice flames by the way.

Love those flames. You seem to have captured a moment of doubt in his expression; very moving.

This made me cry. This is an emotional piece...You captured that very well. The flames are his torture.. his face his story. How he maintains his honor with a struggle against excruciating pain. Doubt??? No doubt..his only fear is that he not die with dignity.. Splendid piece.. I love it.
