Description
The front door faces north.
You open it, and the world is all snow and ice.
So you turn to the door which faces east; and it opens upon a great hot dry desert landscape.
Which leaves two doors; go to the southern door, and your world is warm and sunny in the winter.
Go west? Well, this leads to a cool, temperate but sometimes abysmally wet climate.
But in fact you cannot choose the door; the world you have is the only world you may enjoy; ah me, life goes on, and we have no control over anything that is outside our own little world, and our own house.
And, as I may perhaps have remarked before, I have had better days.
It is late and the rest of the house is asleep, and I am sitting here waiting for moggie to come home.
I could do with some extra RAM for my head, a pair of new knees, -
one can dream.
Did the Neanderthatls have cats?
Pharoah did.
And the Mayans, the Aztecs?
See you all tomorrow.

it sounds like you are also looking for the Door Into Summer. I don't blame you. Great work

I seem to remember that the Russians count ages in summers, and I can say "to me are 80 summers". It would be rather nice not to creak and rattle so much ...

My mother's ex-husband had a moggie when I was 11, and I kept playing with him even though I was allergic. Wondering if I still am.
Shaun, if you or Mike or anyone find that Door into Summer, think of me?

Perhaps this is a cycle that has been going on for billions of years... But whatever it is, things probably will get worse before it gets better... I sympathize with you. My mom suffers from arthritis on both legs and every summer they have temperature from 42 to 49.5 degree Celsius and it touches 1 to 2 degree Celsius in winter. They always try to escape to somewhere else because it is hard to bear and the pains become more pronounced.

Age is catching up to us... No matter the weather something always hurts. Take care. Cats? I like to believe everyone has always had cats. Cats make everything better. This character is lovely. Her long eyelashes make her look innocent.

Strong spirit, as someone once said to me in a time of mild despair.
