chicken fried steak grease with greasy fries the taste was good, but I can do without grease

I really hate to say it Richard, but I do not find that plate the least bit appetizing. But, on the bright side, it is a very clear and sharply defined image! Glad you captured it before it got away! LOL!

I calls to mind one of the quaint old restaurants I used to stop at when driving down hiway 83. It was in Thedford NE called the Cattlemen's Club or something like that. Back in the 80s, you could get one of the best thick juicy flavored steaks you could ever image. Just makes my mouth water even now remembering all the great ones I had there back in the day. A few years ago, my wife and I were driving through the area so I had to stop and see if it was still in business. The old town looked even more run down that it did in the 80s, but the little cafe was there. It didn't look like I remembered it but the sign said they were open. Long story short, new owners, rotten food, bad experience. Another old memory shattered by current circumstances. Well, I shouldn't say the memories are ruined. I still have them in tack. But the new memory is not a pleasant one.

OH Goodness! The "safeness" of being on a diet since January and have lost nearly 50 pounds! It might taste alright but it's put me off fries for a really long while! ROFL!
