The muted color scheme is very nice and the lighting in the cityscape is great!. The contrast in the clouds bothers me somewhat. I wish the bright section was a little smaller. The lasers are all going down, so I don't see why they would lighten up so much of the sky (some of it should be bright just for contrast, of course). I also wish I could see a little more explicit destruction right around the impact cite in the center of the city. As it stands, I could almost believe that the city was celebrating and putting on a light show isntead: Give me a proper explosion, or alternatively some broken bits and pieces flying around!
