Description
This was a silly idea right from the start, but it is a lot less silly than some of the things I have seen masquerading as Haute Couture.
This is a WIP, but I'm not sure the joke will sustain me much further. I had intended to add emissive lighting on a pelmet and some modelled oversized carbon weaves to go on the side wings of the runway.
The runway etc was modelled by me in SolidWorks, saved as an STL file, then converted to OBJ format in a little C++ utility I wrote, then texture mapped and material groups applied in a finite element stress modeller I wrote a few years back. I have had to code in two extra methods to ease the texture mapping process.
The figure's are, from left to right, Adam Thwaites' Jenny for G3F, then Ellis G8F, and finally Jim Burton's 'Glamorous Vickie 3' and Las Vegas Hair as well as her long dress with the DS Carbon fibre IRay shader.
