My mom played the flute back in high school band and is very proud of it/has fond memories of it. That gave me the broad idea to then sit down and create this. I actually asked for her help to make sure I had the flute posed correctly (at first I had it backwards, apparently) and also the hands posed correctly. Close enough, she said.

Lovely image! It almost looks like she's charming the sunrise into existence! I esp. like how the warm, earthtone color scheme brings everything together (and also provides contrast for the bright silver of the flute).
