What is real? I'm betting only the cat(s) know the truth. In one universe I bet the cat is telepathic and/or talks like that one from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."
Maybe if cats ruled the world there wouldn't be so much human violence, we'd be too busy tending to their demands....

Makes want to go back and watch Taxi Driver. It's a cool image. Both shootings were a tragedy. Although I live in a different state I work at Walmart so it really struck a cord with me with the El Paso incident.

Fine work with the optical games in the mirror (it looks like her weapon hand is bent towards her, creating the illusion that the mirror image is actually reaching into 'reality' to grab her gun, etc.) Finely done, and more fine work with clothing and hair, etc And even the cat adds to the visual play of illusion. Plus your deep red-brown theme is beautiful, as is the brighter floor. Robert Di Niro would approve of the mirror scene...more fine work from you, Steve.
