I like the structure of this piece, with the warm colors coming to a sort of point at the top: It reminds me of a Christmas tree, or some such.

There are a few other things I would want to do to increase the visual variety. For instance, the pentagonal pattern seems to be the top layer the whole way throughout the piece, but I would have wanted to see some of the other layers move on top of the pentagons. I also think that there is perhaps too much uniformity of detail here. I wish some areas were a bit blurrier, or simply had a little less going on. This would reduce the visual noise and help the eye have something to focus on.
