Sure, the egoshooter games lower the threshold of using violence and it is eroding the ability for feeling empathy for other life(forms) - thats not to be discussed away, but the easy availability of fire arms (and other weapons) just make it possible that massacres swap form game into reality. So why don't they restrict the availability of weapons? Possibly as usual (as with the whole environment protection subject): there are some selfish, greedy Managers of particular industries, who cannot get enough money down their fat throat and they don't want their profit getting smaller.…
