so, the training of children with guns in uniforms was no exclusive feature of nazi-germany?

Not exclusive to any country actually. Our rifles were fired at targets, and only at Summer Camp. Most of our training consisted of parades and marching every Thursday afternoon.

Thanks for a peak into to a different world and time. When I was it was all about Boy Scouts and summer camp, images would have been similar in that we wore uniforms, but they had been designed by Oscar de la Renta, and rifles were not part of it. Still it is a familiar site.
