Description

There don't seem to be many sacred places left anymore. People discover them and proceed to tromp around destroying what they sought to experience. Created in Vue Pioneer with postwork in PSP8 for the buffalo. Thanks for taking a look! (It's been storming here. Very unusual for August)

So far there are still a few favorite places I go to at least once a year that remain mostly untromp'd, lol. There's nothing quite as soothing as the sound of a stream flowing through an old forest, or the peaceful sound of a desert wind. As the sun goes down and the night sky lights up with a glorious view of the Milky Way, that's when I hear the spirits sing... 😎

You sound like me. I go out to the middle of the pasture and camp down in the back of the pick up (Keeps the coyotes from thinking I'm a meal). We are far enough out in the country that there are no lights from any town. You can reach up and touch the night sky....get caught up in the flow of the Milky Way and let your soul travel on forever.

Excellent atmospheric work.

I think it would be equally powerful without the bison, which looks a little out of place (possibly as its lit differently and has a much higher contrast than the main scene).

Now that I look at it again, you are absolutely right. Thanks for your input!

I agree, no place is sacred. Love this scene, rather like buffalo.

There are now very few sacred places and also the safety in the street is now in question. Excellent art! So well done!

When I go to the mountains in the fall, it is so still and quiet. Beautiful scene.

outstanding Vue and placement of the bison/buffalo

I read earlier the differences of bison and buffaloes(locusts and grasshoppers). I was always calling them both names.
