Description

As I follow the stream through the forest, I listen to the leaves moving high above in a gentle wind. A song bird sings a lonely tune, then fly's away, Leaving me alone to hear the silence on my own. Added a bit of a Rhol photoshop filter, just for fun. By the looks of the trail I bet the giant I'm tracking is only a day or two ahead... ;->

I like the words and the use of the photoshop filter. I have been trying to decide which Clannad song suits this the most... maybe strange land. But this beautiful photograph reminds me of their music. πŸ˜ƒ

Gotta go a long way North to find any forests around here but there be Giants fer sure, shoulda seen the size of that Jackalope Zo was chasing the other day. He caught him though, never sen him back away from a Jack before I swear I saw him turn around and give it the Power Finger a couple times on his way back.

Ok, I'm convinced: Canada* added to the list of places I need to visit before this show is ending. Damn, this looks fantastic, can almost smell the flora and hear the cool water mumble secret forest tales.

  • ok ok, Canada always has been high on that list... you got me πŸ˜‰

Such a great poem! And your capture of the forest wilderness reminds me of the forest in which I grew up in Upstate NY...what wonderful days of exploration they were for me :)

What a beautiful place to wander. Are you safe from bears and cougers? We don't have bears, but the mountain lions come now and then. I love to wander in Nature's silence.

The filter gives it a watercolor feel. Should a real beast be making that trail, you best be careful! There might be dragons!
