Frustrated at not getting Julian Cavendish's attention, Marlin starts pacing around in the room in front of Julian. 'Get out of the way!' shouts Julian. 'You're blocking my show!' Even more frustrated, Marlin goes over and plunks down in an easy chair to Julian's right. About then, Jamie Cavendish enters the room. 'I had lots of bites but no fish large enough to keep!' he exclaims to Julian. 'Hey, is anyone ever going to direct me to Main Street?' asks Marlin for about the (to him) 50th time. Julian pretends disinterest and just spreads his arms in an 'I don't know' gesture. Jamie turns to Julian and with a big smile says, 'I think we have punished this guy enough. Shall we take pity on him now?' Marlin looks astonished as he asks, 'What are you guys talking about?' Jamie explains; 'Before you got here, I got a call from our Father's chauffer. He was telling us about some very rude guy driving an old Chevy car that almost rear ended him as he was turning into the hospital to pick up our Father. He was very upset about it. We didn't think anything more about it until you drove up in front of us. We were both astonished. When you asked for directions, we quickly devised our little plan to punish you for scaring the chauffer. You walked right into our little trap. We got far more out of it than we ever thought we would. And now, we will try to make it up to you. You seem to be a pretty nice guy. I suppose you were just a little bit distracted. We will do even better than show you how to get to Main Street. Lets all go out for a night on the town, at our expense of course!' Marlin is shocked by their story but when he thinks about it, he realizes that perhaps he did deserve what he got. 'I've got to call my grandmother. She had been expecting me this afternoon. You guys tied me up so long it is getting too late to visit her today. I'll call her and let her know I'll be over to see her tomorrow.' 'Hey, I'd love to meet your grandmother!' says Julian. 'I want to tell her why you couldn't make it today!' After Marlin makes calls his grandmother and apologises, he puts his shirt back on. They all pile into his old Chevy and head down to Main Street, where all the action is. The guys have a great time. Julian declares himself the designated driver so that Marlin can cut loose. They all arrive home safe and sound much later that night, having formed a solid new friendship. 'We have an extra bedroom upstairs. You can spend the rest of the night there!' says Julian. 'I'll have breakfast ready later this morn. You can get cleaned up and freshen up and have breakfast before we go over to visit your grandmother. Does that sound like a plan?'
