I could see this working for a book cover. Lots of space for text. I like the pose and lighting decisions you made. I also like the way you composed it so that the circle is just a bit off center from the main form. It enhances the sense of motion. BTW: Is this a stock photo background? I seem to recall seeing another image very similar to this one. Nevertheless, this is a strong cover design. Well done.
