Description
Here's one of my first test renders since upgrading from Poser Pro 2014 to Poser Pro 11 the other day.
Still learning the ins and outs of SuperFly, but loving everything so far.
This is a GPU render (high quality) that took about 64 minutes on my Mac Mini. The iMac would likely have done it a bit quicker.
Other than Photoshop to add the title and save as a jpeg, the render is straight out of Poser.
Will try some of the higher quality settings to improve the clarity of the image.
All the metal is the same SuperFly material. Other purely SuperFly materials are the light emitters (though I used a point light for the fancy lamp), table top, and a few rubber bits in the scene. The remainder were Firefly materials. I need to move those to SuperFly equivalents and render it all again. Just to see. :)

good presentation, Lee
Mac mini GPU render? How? is this a new Mac mini or a late 2014?

Thank you, micropixel!
To clarify, it's the high quality GPU render settings. I don't believe it's actually using the Intel integrated graphics, though I could be wrong. This was done about 2 or 3 days after I upgraded from Poser Pro 2014 to Poser Pro 11. I was still trying everything out and ran some timing tests with various SuperFly Bucket Size settings to see where rendering time fell off (among other things, LOL!) It's a late 2014 Mac Mini with 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD that my brother gave me a few months ago. It's a pretty robust little machine. No speed demon, but workable for my meager needs.
