Description

Charcoal drawing. I almost never use charcoal, but a friend of mine gave me a piece as a gift and insisted I give it a whorl. I find that charcoal draws out my more expressive and poetic side. I did this really fast as a sort of response to the rose, and forced myself to stop before I started adding too much unnecessary detail. The result is loose, expressive and almost poetic. It is not at all what I usually do, but I like it.
