I remember back when those were the only sunflowers I had ever seen! Lots of them on the North Dakota prairies. Then along came the 1970s and the infusion of commercial sunflowers. I raised many crops of them and would up having half of them harvested by unbelievable huge flocks of blackbirds before I could ever get to them myself. Well, thats life, I guess. LOL.
