there is such a delightful mood here - the look between them looks so intense, but extremely playful, like when folks meet again and act all serious at first, and then break out in laughter at the same time... i also really like the way you've put the girl on all fours and in white, in a sense mirroring her friend, not only emotionally, but somewhat physically as well - it serves to heighten the sense of connection & emotion here [at least for me]...

Overall, the entire scene appears to be a bit darker than it should. It's like twilight without the necessary shading. Of course, that's subjective, but I feel outside scene should be well lit. Especially in the Serengeti. The scene itself is well constructed with the focus being directly on the two subjects. I'm getting a different type of vibe than the others it seems. It's like two twins meeting for the first time. More like "HEY! What's up?" I don't sense any fear from her and that makes it more fun. Composition, use of extra's, the high quality of the Lion and the lovely Denaris lookalike from Game of Thrones, the hair flowing loose (I prefer tight hair however, it works well here. The clothing and how it fits is top notch. And her hand mixed in with the terrain is indistinguishable from reality. I have rated this work 5 Stars. Nicely done, Sam.

Beautiful work, but it looks like the lion is studying her hair, not her face. Unless he's getting ready to pull the old "Look, there's a distraction behind you!" trick. [grin]
