Really like what you've created here...the complexity of the scene is amazing...I have TD and TD2--I should dig them out and use them again...

Neat scene! I look forward to seeing it from other angles. And I also look forward to seeing what else you come up with for TD2, which I love and use frequently! For making pathways, I'd like a way to add a path or road as an overlay (via a Blender node), but that might be tricky depending on how the ground is UV mapped.

Fine and fascinating scene. Slightly brighter sunlight would make it easier for me to see what is going on. I have been experimenting with IDL for outdoor scenes. Key is to use a sky dome, partly cloudy works best. Lowish IDL quality seems to be OK with 2 raytrace bounces. For your type of image I would use shadow value of .6 to .8 on the sun.
