Description

As soon as the school children were safely across the street, Father confirmed Jr.'s question about the New Car. As Mother came out the front door, Father asked in a loud voice, 'who wants to get some ice cream? and go for a ride in our new car?' The children quickly scrambled into the back seat. As it happened, the next door neighbor boy happened to be walking by just then. It was obvious he admired their new car. 'You can come with us, Jimmy, if you would like. There is more than enough room in this new car of ours!' Jimmy accepted gladly and got in the back with the two other children. Soon, they were all headed down the street to the ice cream shop, everyone with a big smile on their faces, enjoying the lovely ride in the brand new car.
