Here I am! Hi everybody :)
What about me...Well,I'd love to make my living a pleasant and fruitful experience:I have always liked to paint and make drawings, but I never went to any school.
I love to write, and I like to express my soul in as many ways as I can think of...I don't consider myself an artist, though:I just love art. For more about me, just click here and visit my site.BIOI was born in Firenze, 17th of April 1977.
I am fond of everything which celebrates life and humanity:from writing, to painting, to music till sports and nature, all that captures my attention becomes an interest of mine.
If I'd die tomorrow, I would feel my life has been a worthy one already, but for every day that passes, I feel always more curious about it.
To be an artist (although I don't consider myself so,) means to have a personal vision about all that happens, equally outside than inside. For me it means also to try to connect with other's spirits in unexpectable ways and have an endless will of knowledge, and endless will to discover and test yourself and everything else, without fears, but with all possible emotions in the quest, and from the quest.
The world around it's therefore the best inspiration, all that is into it can touch the inner chords of my soul, although I can't say which way till it doesn't happen. And everytime it happens, it's a reveal, a miracle, and the vibes are the best one can feel.
Then sometimes I watch the blue sky, and I give shape to my heart and mind, and I float around... and smile for my live is really like I want it to be.
I have temporarily suspended my career as University Researcher, testing myself as Administrative Manager right now, and I still asking myself if what I got finally was awareness or disillusion, but anyway, it's my attitude to never regret anything that I made consciously.Let's give life a new try.
I am very fond of Foreign Cultures, they enlarge also my artistical perceivement of life, and it's something I find absolutely enriching.
I have never learnt English, so forgive me if I am not good at speaking nor writing it.
I can speak and write in French, I can read Spanish, I know Ancient Latin and Greek.
And of course, I am Italian so, my Mother Tongue has got no mystery for me.
Hooray for Dante! ;)

A beautiful ending of the series.. :) Very touching as well. You can see the dispair in the man's eyes and spirit. And the grace and shine in the woman's ways..I like the contrast. You feel for them alot.. :) Definitely makes me want to see the ballet. :)

It's all there, solid. I can feel that touch :-) Particularly good work on her hands

Beautiful again Meli hugs. It makes me wish I didn't live so far from the city so I could experience the ballet. The line in this image is captivating, his expression heartbreaking. I'm looking forward to the next series :D

A tiny detail - the way you created a sign for forest - great in its simplicity. And I like the way you sketched the female figure.

A fantastic ending to a fantastic series. This one is very strong, the dispair in the man's face is very evident as he tries to cling to the woman.

I was a ballet dancer for many years, from the age of seven until about 18 when I defected to modern dance. I love your entire ballet series. You have depicted the magical part of the dance, I love this one especially...the drama you were able to capture in the faces is amazing.

I can hear the audience clapping... Beautiful, what's next Meli? :)

Love what you've done with her skirt folds and hair. Your pencil is developing a mind of its own. The skirt reminds me of flower petals, very nice...

I was just beginning to understand the ballet as a geometric proof with compass and dividers point to point with lead flying when... he grabbed her waist. The scroll is rolled up with leverage made tensor. No books were kept together.

Ooooh! So... beautiful... The sense of movement, the use of space... Sigh! I can look at it for hours!

Stunning, Meli! I love the story too. It is one of my favorite ballets. Your work is excellent as always. Your hair is fantastic. It looks so lush and gorgeous!! Brava!!

yes its a quite emotional ending, the dance is over, but the motions let rock their bones for hours after,a mixture of feeling numb, happy and alltogether:-) i tend to get carried away ... great ,i especially like her arms and his face...

Figharo and I are of like minds. I was immediately stuck by the hair and skirt. Beautifully rendered, they are the image of divine feminity.

my two favourite parts in this piece, meli, are the wonderful passionate look on his face and the gorgeous folds of her skirt. beautiful!

Sembra naif, eppure cosintenso. Sono innamorata di Giselle, dunque ti ringrazio due volte per questo disegno.
Cibele
A me non pare affatto naif. E' stilizzato, sembra un cartone giapponese. Bello.
MadameCurie
It's naif to me too, but I agree with LilLau: it's so very intense this way exactly.
