Description
I made this drawing on about 1990.
J'ai dessine ceci, en 1990.
Ce dictionnaire s'adresse surtout aux anglophones; les francophones sont plus habitués au style européen de la BD.
ENGLISH
On this specific post, I will maintain a dictionary of names, words, expressions, abbreviations, shorthand and acronyms that are only meaningful for the "Ionivka : Big-Feet Mutant" series (and used for 2 or more episodes). I will update this list at regular intervals.
I wrote this dictionary for helping English-speaking people into getting a better understanding of the epic Ionivka series that is written in French (and French-style storytelling). Even though I provide a summary, even a translation, in English, I am still using a French storytelling style. Even though it is a science-fiction story, it is focused on the psychological journey of the main characters and in the sociological context. Events that occurred earlier in Ionivka's life have major impacts later.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ THE FOLLOWING TEXT RIGHT AWAY COMPLETELY.
This dictionary could be useful when you encounter an unknown word in my English translation (or summary) of a page of my Ionivka series. Keep a link to this page.
Here are the dictionaries for the Ionivka series.

DICTIONARY OF POPULATIONS AND RACES
Big-Feet (Grand-Pieds in French) : Human mutants that appeared about 500 years before Ionivka's birth, after an experimental chemotherapy program for saving pregnant women who were irradiated from a nuclear reactor explosion. They are characterized by unusual body proportions and lesser social intelligence. "Big-Feet also means a specific type of mutant, like in the expression Big-Feet mutants. Big-Feet have the same form in singular or plural (ex. a Big-Feet, 10 Big-Feet).
Fine-Eyes (Yeufin in French) Human mutants, of a different type, that appeared at the end of the Grand Total War, 4 centuries before Ionivka's birth. This mutation was designed for improving the survival ability, from radioactivity, of the population of the other coalition : Yfer. These mutants have used some genes from the Big-Feet population who is the most immune to radioactivity. Fine-Eyes also means a specific type of mutant, like in the expression Fine-Eyes mutants. Fine-Eyes have the same form in singular or plural (ex. a Fine-Eyes, 10 Fine-Eyes).
Genius Big-Feet : A big-Feet mutant who is socially almost as intelligent as a non-mutant or as a Fine-Eyes mutant.
Non-mutant : Normal people like you and me.
Norcanian : Citizen of Norcan. A non-mutant or a Big-Feet who are living within the Norcan borders.
Primitives : Big-Feet mutants who live outside any coalition territory; they live a simple life, like natives.
Regular Big-Feet : The average intelligence Big-Feet (lower than a non-mutant, or than a Fine-Eyes mutant)
Transfix : A person, more specifically a Big-Feet, who went through an induced self-rewiring of his/her brain. Such a person develops a genius-level intelligence and intuition on some specialized subject(s).
Transfixed : (Adjective) The state of being a transfix.
Transfixed Big-Feet : See transfix
