Gee, am I the only one that likes snow? Nature at her best...Nice work creating this interesting, novel scene. Like Jane points out, it is sort of spooky :)

(When I saw the title, I thought: Oh god, they didn't get snow already, did they? I hope not...) Another of your mysterious images that are strange and yet so clear. They seem to come full-formed from some deep place; and for all its mystery, it's so clear. I love how the garden is broken into those supports: I realize they might be supports for plants and vines; but the way you've done this, they seem much more primal too---like structures left over by an ancient civilization (a small-scale stonehenge). And they make many patterns---even the bark is in patterns---all covering a set of squares or diamonds on the ground, which add more mystery to the image. (They could be to separate plants; but under snow, they look like remnants from an earlier group of people.) The snow is almost cream-colored; and you have this medieval/fairy tale woman standing in front, holding a purple moon crescent---very mysterious/suggestive---and we don't know who she is or why she's there: Maybe she's the spirit who brought the snow, or maybe she's conjured by this strange geometry, or maybe she's just passing through...and your sky gives a 'frame' to the whole image. Terrific, Barb. However you construct these, they wind up tapping a very intuitive and deep place in you. This has so much power of suggestion...
