Description

Well this past week or so, I've been living in computer purgatory--finally got myself a 64-bit machine (solely for the purpose of getting the PoserPro 11.2 update). Between setting up the machine and porting most of my Poser and DS content to the new machine, I've had little time for anything else. Today, I decided to see how the machine handles DS 64-bit. I purchased this voodoo gal last year, but could never properly use her in DS 32-bit. I'm pleased with the result. Since I wanted her to pop in the scene, I rendered her twice--once in the full scene and once separately. In PS, I placed the second render of her over the first full render. That way I had more control over brightness, contrast, blur, etc.. Have to figure out how to work with DOF and certainly lighting in DS. In Poser it's pretty much a snap for me. The wolf hiding behind the grave marker was a similar situation using 32-bit.. Had him for several years, but could not use him in Poser 32-bit. He came out nicely too with PP11 64-bit. So, I am pleased. Most of the scene was created in DS. The graveyard props are DMs Gothic Rose (Poser version with diddling of materials in DS), the AM wolf in PP11 (composited into the scene in PS), and of course the gal (Mama Legba by Sixus1) in DS. Thus, the Mixed Medium designation. I'm eager to see what the team has done to Poser with the soon-to-be-available update :) Heaven knows, Poser has been in IC gasping for breath far too long. Thanks for the view and for any comments you'd like to leave...always appreciate your support.

Just freaking awesome work, Barb! You do that Voodoo soooooo well! 😉

Yeah, going to 64 bit after 32 bit is a whole new world - congrats on the new machine. Looks like you are going to be doing some epic things with it!

Now that we're home, I'll be snagging the 11.2 update - probably tomorrow. I have PP-11 on my Origin laptop and it seems to work really well. I may well install it on the machine I rebuilt a couple months ago.
