Cet oiseau indodésien possède une excroissance nasale caractéristique au sommet de son ber, marquant ainsi son appartenance à la famille des Bucérotidés. La forme de son bec ainsi que son comportement social et reproducteur sont autant de caractéristiques qui font du calao papou un oiseau exceptionnel et étonnant.
This Indonesian bird has a characteristic nasal growth at the top of its cradle, marking its membership in the Bucerotidae family. The shape of its beak and its social and reproductive behaviour are all characteristics that make the Papuan hornbill an exceptional and surprising bird.
