Just a quick photo from on the road... If you ever travel Highway 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming you will see this "point of interest" in between the westbound and eastbound lanes. It is a lone tree growing out of solid rock. The last time I stood here was sometime in the mid-50's when my dad was stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne. I was 8 or 9 when Dad stopped the car at this spot and we all got out to admire this wonder of nature. The tree was considerably smaller then. So was I. The memories of those days came flooding back as Jo snapped this photo of me - and an old friend. I think I remember someone else posting a picture of this tree some time ago - probably Richard 😁..
