I decided to mow my grass this afternoon since it was only in the "low 90's F". when I went to lock my gate behind me, it would not lock. I was worried that I would have purchase a new double deadbolt since I am not able to get parts for locks anymore since stores are not allowed to sell anymore. the deadbolt is an expensive model and I would always save parts that was good. luckily I was able to find a brand new part that I had purchased a long time ago and replaced the worn out part. back when I was working, I would only purchase commercial quality locks.they are more difficult to break.
the double deadbolt on my gate is probably 40 years old that I had saved when I replaced the locks on an expensive mansion with a different color. back then they were very expensive
