(If this series is an homage to a film, I regret that I don't know enough sci-fi films to know much about it.) So, this is an interior scene---inside an alienship. Your soldiers are lit like bronze and silver THe red strips are fine contrasts. And the guns have red stripes also: fine color and light. Your design here is first rate.

The aliens (on the sides of the image) look like ghosts or cocoons. They look like they're in cocoons, and need more time to emerge. Very eerie and spooky. And your background has lots of pillars---some silver, some blue: They match the silvers in the soldiers. This is a visual feast, and it's haunting as well.
