what a powerful collision of elements: how the horses surge, and yet are cut off; how the cross beam cuts right through their war-like rush; how the light above shows the way out; and how you made a circular arch that kind of 'encases' everyone. You got all the horses too (the white ((with crown)), the black, the deep red and the pale), and the skeletons with arrows, etc. It's almost an abstract vision, but very visceral; and I think John would approve of it, with the blasting light above, and the feeling that all this war below will be consumed by light. I bet this is powerful in person...
