Description

His Only Job Was to... Upon seeing the valve on the boiler left open, Aiko said, "His only job was to drain the sludge off the boiler." It looks like somebody's in trouble. This was quite the undertaking. Here's how it all started... First, I downloaded a boiler from CGTrader. I think it cost me about $10. Second, it wasn't in DAZ format, so I had to learn how to convert it and preserve every little detail. UHG! That was an undertaking that actually triggered a myasthenic flare up. (I have myasthenia gravis.) Third, after recovering from my flare up I got the boiler to load in to daz and I then began to apply shaders. Forth, once it was done I needed other "stuff", so I did a simple pipe creation of three pipes (as scene on the back wall.) Having done the boiler, this was ... okay, it wasn't any easier... just less pieces. Forth, I had to lay it all out. I took various assets in my library, and started building a boiler room scene. (See credits for ones available on Renderosity.) Fifth, I added Aiko 5 as the human aspect, plus a couple of cans. (Gotta love the gas can so close to the boiler... and why?) Finally, I created about a half dozen different renders for layers in my reference composite, and then digitally painted the scene.

WOW...that was a lot of work and I hope not to much suffering. But, from my POV it was worth, except for the myasthenic. I had to look up the condition, I am very glad you made it through and continued to hammered away at that boiler.

@Idgilman, Thanks. I appreciate your comments.

Yeah, myasthenia gravis has meant doing things differently and learning what triggers the attacks. This little project taught me I that I need to space the new learning exercises out over a few days and not rush to get things done.
