Description
Illdria stared up into the sky, the alien girl's white eyed gave little clue to what she was thinking about, but Sishka knew, she was looking for the soldiers. Deco city was miles away, they had landed the stolen VTOL near a canyon wall, the vehicle required recharging before they lifted off again.
Illdria turned slightly to Sishka, her mouth quivered nervously, her mind thinking of the words she needed to ask. "Will they come?" she asked in her disjointed, the difficulty of her grasp of English clearly evident.
Sishka shrugged. "I don't know, maybe."
Illdria seemed to dwell on the reply for sometime. Eventually she sighed. "I want to go home."
Sishka nodded, she shivered, the desert sun was setting and the tempreature was dropping. "We should go inside the VTOL, get some sleep."
Illdria nodded. "Then we go home?"
Sishka lowered her gun by her side and walked towards the open canopy. "Yes, then you go home."

i like your renders. the combination of props, figures, and textures - along with your sharp story-lines (even one word) - always fit nicely together. one suggestion on this image: perhaps lowering the camera, pointing more upwards at the characters and increasing the focal length would add to the sense of isolation and "cold." thank you for posting this!
