Description

This butterfly was very hard to get a photo of. Incredible as it flew from "hot to her"(as we say it) and so incredibly fast. Can you see it before you: I running back and forth from one side to the other of the large nature reserve, with the result, not one "shot" . The persistent wins, so I was able to 'catch' a number of these species. Moreover, this species is also very rare here. Latin name: Colias croceus. Thank you very much for your visit. btw, I planned to post many more insects to day, but after three, I'm exhausted. So see you to morrow (maybe).

Beautiful capture Jacomina. I can only agree with you: taking a picture of this butterfly is really very difficult. I haven't succeeded yet.

Kudos on capturing this butterfly with such detail. Christian (above) agrees that capturing this butterfly is very difficult. (I've never even tried...) We can see the hairs on its wings and head, and the prickly burrs on his antennae. And his pale yellows and greens blend well with the yellows of the flower. You faded the background well too---it's a quiet sea of greens, and it makes a gentle, beautiful background.
