Sweet light, Richard: It looks like you captured light on top of, and behind, the petals. It may be just on top---but it gives a special sheen to the petals. Wonderful light, esp against all that deep green.

A photographer friend said, "the sign of a true photographer is that they take pics of things on the side of the main pic"---ie, you taking pics of flowers outside the museum. Wherever a picture presents itself, a photographer shoots...
