The bikes seem to glow! The colors are so cool in this. The stripes on the pole and the reflection in the puddle in the background help make this a fascinating image.

I love the repeating patterns formed by the bikes, and the warm glow of the light contrasted with the violet hues of the street, and the puddles of water give this both a feeling of calm, and a very slight tension that gives you the feeling that something is about to happen. And we can't really tell if it is something good or not. I love that!
Yeah, I'm still blown away... With all the talent here, and the two other artists who were nominated (one of which is a good friend), I'm so humbled and honored to have been chosen.
